We are located on the square in Butler, Missouri in a building that used to house the old Levy's apparel store. The building was built in the early 1900's and still has the charm of the pressed tin ceiling with some modern additions like plenty of light.

Rocking Chair Quilts is a fun place to hang out with a homey atmosphere and great customer service. It's the quilter's version of a neighborhood coffee shop where quilters can sit and chat while they work on their individual projects.

We sell fabric and quilt supplies as well as books on quilting, quilt patterns, and quilting kits. We also offer many quilting classes, some concentrating on learning a new technique and others focusing on the completion of a quilt or project. There are classes for all levels from beginning quilters to advanced quilters. The best part is the fun we have as we meet and chat and laugh and have a great time.

Lisa Wolfe is the owner of the quilt shop. She and her husband, Vernie, grew up in nearby Adrian, Missouri. They moved to Columbus, Ohio where Lisa was a school principal for many years. They are excited to be back near family in a small town again, and Lisa is especially excited that her dream of many years is finally a reality, sharing her joy of quilting with others by opening a quilt shop.

Lisa has been quilting for years and has attended many classes. In addition to fabric and quilting supplies, Lisa offers custom quilting on her quilting machine.
